Claire Lau was born in 1988 in Paris, moved to Hong Kong at the age of 7, and went to study studio arts and music at Hampshire College, Amherst, MA. In 2011, she went back to paint Hong Kong for several years, then settled in San Francisco. Claire has been painting and showing in the US and Hong Kong, and considers herself as a global citizen. She sees man’s relationship with nature as one of the most important issues of the 21st century, regardless of national boundary.
Claire has exhibited her work in Hong Kong, Amherst, Northampton and Cambridge, Mass, as well as San Francisco and San Mateo, CA.
